My younger cousin (six months) was bigger and stronger than most guys her age when she was in junior high school. She just lifted me once in a surprise straight lift from behind when she carried me from one part of the yard to the other. Her smaller boy twin must have gotten carried a zillion times by her in all kinds of ways. She loved to lift guys, and my other girl cousin loved to lift gals.

Wow awesome
Well mine is still going on. She is into athletics and dancing, she now has good defined muscles and is very strong for her age(I believe she is even stronger than me) |

She beat all of the boys her age in a state American football skills contest when she was 12! She definitely wasn't an ordinary girl. She "beat up" her brother and me in a pillow fight around seventh grade. She turned into Xena.

My little sister used to lift me quite a bit. All of us kids rough-housed, and it was just a normal thing for us. I have mostly girl cousins, some older, some younger, and all of them lifted me at one point or another. I'm the oldest sibling; after me, it's boy, girl, boy, so in our nuclear family, my sister was the only girl. Obviously, she had to be tough. Now, granted, I'm deceptively lightweight, but as a kid, she could give me piggyback rides when she was quite a bit lighter than me. I'm 10 years older than she is, and she started doing this pretty early. As a teenager, she surpassed my weight at some point, which made lifting me even easier for her (I'm the lightest one of the bunch), but she's still about 6 inches shorter than me.
She always did farm work right along with the boys, and it was obvious that she was stronger than average. In high school, the only student in her class who could do more sit-ups than her was a super athletic guy who was planning on joining the military. And that's crazy because she's never really made an effort to work out - you know, outside of PE, farm stuff, and goofing off with us. It's funny because on the one hand, she needs help opening jars and stuff like that, so her arms aren't as strong as a guy's, but when it comes to squats or piggybacks (for distance), it's her all the way. |
