For me, the first time I noticed LandC affected me, although I wouldn’t say I was into it yet, was when I was probably 6-8 years old. We went to a circus performance and one of the acts was an Acro couple. I remember the woman standing as the guy did a handstand on her shoulders, I also remember her holding him above her head, as well as many other lifts. I remember feeling very bothered and almost upset/angry about it, but also obsessively thinking about it for years to come.

Fast forward a couple years, I got really into watching wrestling, WCW and WWF, I would watch solely for the lifts. I remember feeling the same “bothered” feeling when Chyna would do lifts on men. But I also learned how turned on I was by women lifting women by watching the divas lift each other. It was really hot in the 90’s with Trish stratus, Stacy Kiebler, tori Wilson, Teri tunnels, etc. Lots of lifts in their bra’s and panties, definitely learned it aroused me.

It took me a long time to appreciate any FM lifts. I remember when I was middle school age and very thin, my best friends older sister who was in high school, used to love to do lifts on me, which I thought I hated but I think I was just turned on and didn’t know what to do with it.
I would always try and prove myself because I loved the feeling of lifting girls, although I struggled to do so. I would pick her up but as soon as I put her down, she would inevitably reverse it and pick me up in a much more impressive way to remind me she was older, bigger and stronger than I was. Often at sleepovers at their house late at night, we would have wrestling matches of me and my buddy against his older sister and younger sister. I would pick up his younger sister and hold her as long as I could, then his older sister would cut me down by doing the same to me. Lots of great memories in that house

I was turned off by F/M lifting when I was a kid too. It was like a cat chasing a dog in that it didn't seem normal to me. I would blanche and cringe when I came across photos. Still, I was jealous of boys who were regularly lifted by older girls, like my cousin, friend, neighbor, etc.

GLOW was THE show for F/F lifting AND wrestling when I was a kid. Some sites still show complete programs. I preferred it when the larger, stronger women lifted the smaller, weaker women. The Farmer's Daughters were perfect liftees.
