Default I dunno?

I think what's driving a lot of the increased visibility of lift and carry is the acceptance of it as a legitimate workout/exercise idea.

The number of people who find it sexually arousing to view it are still a small minority of the people in the general public. But those of us who do are simply getting a lot more opportunity to see it taking place because people involved in Crossfit, some of the martial arts and so forth are enjoying doing these lifts both to show off their strength and for the practicality of it. (If you're stuck at home, especially with all the COVID worries right now and many gyms closed? Lifting a partner is a good heavy lift you can do without needing a stack of weights to use.)

Yeah it's an interesting trend, especially in the last years where more and more people are getting into fitness and where a fit, strong woman for example is considered something to admire, I don't think this was the case 10 or 20 years ago.

I remember it started with "This is my baby" meme in tiktok and now everyone is doing this lift and carry challenge in youtube.

But I still thing that the L&C fetish is not commonly known nor it is normalised, the typical exposure you will see in media and movies is still that if you have any kind of fetish you're a creep which is sad.

I think some may view it as a way to earn a little extra money. The "lift and carry challenge" videos usually draw into the thousands on views, and I think you get about $2 for every thousand views.

Let's hope so! I agree there has been way more content lately. It was very hard to find only a few years ago, although I didn't know about this forum at that point...

I agree. We've recorded L&C video with my ex gf back in 2015.
Video has become relatively popular within 3 weeks.

We could make some money out of that, but we broke up
