Do women's material instincts kick in while they are carrying someone or lap?

I have been on record that I am short and have sit on laps. I prefer that to being carried. I love when girls start rocking you in their lap without me asking. Just natural instincts. Someone small in their lap. That is kind of what got me to the question.
